Xiaomi Mi 8 Teaser Leaked: Possible New Unlocking Feature

The Chinese electronics company Xiaomi making high-quality products with cutting-edge technology accessible to everyone has unveil a new teaser confirming the launch of successor of Mi 6 on 31st of May. This is the second teaser released by Xiaomi, previous teaser shows a big 7 and explaining why the company has skipped one of the most awaited phone since the last year Xiaomi Mi 7.

The Latest Teaser shows that only 6 days are left for the annual launch event and also articulate that the device will be coming with the new phone unlock feature. Since this is the 8th-year-anniversary Xiaomi is trying to do something big this time and after such teaser, expectations of the fans are on high tides

As far as the specification leaks concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 8 will come with Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is also said to have a dual rear camera setup with a 20-megapixel primary sensor featuring an f/1.7 aperture, and 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The chipset will probably be paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM. Also according to rumors the phone, may be equipped with structured light 3D module that will enable 3D facial recognition. If the rumors are true, the Mi 8 could the first phone to feature hardware based 3D facial recognition.

The smartphone may pack with a battery of 3,300mah and an in-display fingerprint reader as well. Xiaomi may use a glass panel to enable wireless charging support. All in All, this phone is endowed with two advanced unlocking features.

The thing to see now is the price range that the brand launches the phone at, since this will be company’s flagship offering that is set out to compete against phones like OnePlus 6.
