OnePlus 5 Officially Launched in India Starting at Rs. 32,999

Today, 22nd June 2017, the OnePlus 5 was officially launched in India with a  collaboration with Paytm. OnePlus announced the phone globally on 20th June, just 2 days prior to the India launch.

There is an array of features on the phone that deserves to be brought to the forefront. It has a dual rear camera setup sporting a 16-megapixel main sensor and an additional 20-megapixel telephoto sensor. The brand emphasizes to have the “highest resolution dual camera system on a smartphone” and great low lighting performance. Nevertheless, it is not possible to confirm that before reviewing the device.

The OnePlus 5 houses a sleek unibody design with a 7.25mm thickness, which looks very akin to the iPhone 7 Plus. The phone also sports the OnePlus exclusive alert slider and the usual volume rockers and power button. The phone also brings a fingerprint sensor that unlocks in a 1/5th of a second (0.2 seconds). It comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comprises of 5.5 Inches of a Full HD Optic AMOLED display, accompanied by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Apart from that, the OnePlus 5 also sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.45GHz and an Adreno 540 GPU. The phone also consists of a 3300mAh battery, that charges through the fastest charging technology: Dash Charge.

As we leaked earlier, the Slate Gray coloured variant of this phone comes with a 6GB RAM a 64GB of internal storage. Again as we exclusively leaked earlier, the price of the 6GB-64GB phone will be Rs. 32,999,  There is also an 8GB RAM variant that comes along with 128GB of storage. It comes in the midnight black colour, which is exclusive towards the 128GB version of the phone This phone has a price of Rs. 37,999, exactly as we exclusively exclaimed earlier through our leaks.
