As is mentioned in my first article about Oneplus the relationship between Oneplus and Cyanogen Inc. is not so strong anymore as it was at the start of the Oneplus project. This “bad” relationship between Oneplus and Cyanogen Inc. is caused by the exclusive partnership between Micromax and Cyanogen in India, that partnership states that no other device can ship in India with Cyanogen running on this, at the time this partnership was revealed Oneplus was already selling their Oneplus One to customers with Cyanogen running on it. After Micromax knew they were selling the One with Cyanogen they stepped to the court for a sales ban on the Oneplus One. Following that debacle a lot of users in India were asking if their device will get any updates, in my first article I said that no future OTA (Over the air) will be released for any user in India. That is not true, as Carl Pei said on his official Twitter account. I have made a print screen of his answer on his twitter account and he is saying:

OTA

As the official announcement states, the CM12S will be released for OTA on or before the 30th of March and for Oxygen OS, that will be available for install on the 27th of March as is now the 26th and I don’t have any hope anymore for a release tonight. As the update is released we will post another update, if not we will follow their announcements and give you the needed news about the update. So Oneplus One users in India, are you ready to update? And to which ROM you are going to update?
