Meizu announced the M2 Note today, which brings us a large Sharp IGZO display, Android Lollipop (with Flyme OS), and a physical home button. The M2 Note goes on where the M1 stopped, the M2 brings us a refreshed style and impressive specs for less than $130. The key difference between those devices is the physical home button, which replace the round capacitive button that was present on the devices in the past. The physical button was previous rumoured to include a fingerprint scanner. But, the physical button can feel if you press on it or tap on it, tapping the home button brings you back and pressing the physical button brings you back to the home screen.

The Meizu M2 Note features a 5.5-inch Sharp IGZO IPS display with a Full-HD resolution, the device is powered by a octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.53 GHz supported by 2GB of RAM. The device has a 13MP shooter at the back with 5 elements f/2.2 lens, while at the front there is a 5MP shooter equipped with f/2.0 aperture. The device has a 3100mAh battery inside.

The Meizu M2 Note has either 16GB or 32GB inside, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The 16GB version only costs 799 yuan (Less than $130), while the 32GB version cost 999 yuan ($160). The handset is already available in China, and can be ordered online. If you want to buy it in a store, you’ll need to wait until the 12th of June. Meizu doesn’t have any plans to bring the device to other markets around the world, but it won’t take long until it is available from third-party resellers.
