1) An entirely new design

This year’s addition to the Moto G lineup adds the much-awaited design refresh. The new Moto G5 Plus spawns an all-metal unibody design to fit the industry standards and yells premium in every little aspect. Although the Moto finger indent has disappeared, it doesn’t turn people off, rather than that, the new design makes up for it. Nonetheless, the unibody design has a large protruding camera hump. However, it’s tolerably easy to get used to.

2) Camera

The Moto G5 Plus sports the same camera sensor like the Samsung Galaxy S7. Which is pretty impressive considering the price variation between both the devices! The Samsung Galaxy S7 is priced at Rs. 40,000 t0 Rs. 50,000, whereas the Moto G5 Plus is priced at Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 17,000. The photos taken from this phone are beautiful, as expected.

3) Turbo Charging

The Moto G5 Plus comes with a micro-USB port and not a USB-C port, which is a tad bit disappointing considering the contemporary market standards. Despite that, the Turbo Charging technology present on the phone, enables you to charge your phone up to 60% in 15 minutes, which is quite nifty for on-the-go users.

4) Smaller screen and form factor

The market is running dry on smaller screen phones these days. There is a crowd that still prefers smaller displays rather than larger ones, as they are rather easy to operate with a single hand. The Moto G5 acts as a dissident and features a 5.2-inch display which facilitates one-handed usage.

5) Offers and discounts, NFC

Here, in India, the Moto G5 is complimented with several offers and discounts that provide more value to the phone. One very robust deal available right now is 10% off on SBI cards, which allows you to purchase the Rs. 17,000 version at a price of Rs. 15,300 only! Not to mention several other offers available on Flipkart, such as a buy-back of Rs. 6,000! Apart from the offers and discounts, the Moto G5 Plus is one of the rare budget devices that comes with NFC built in.
