iPhone is that one device in the tech industry that is subjected to a massive number of leaks. This year’s iPhone 8 is no different and we already know a thing or two about the phone even though its launch is months away. This new leak of the 2017 iPhone shows the alleged final design of the phone.

The scoop comes from BGR that has got the images of an iPhone 8 mockup sporting the final design. The report says that the mockups have been made based on the actual schematics that had leaked from the factories manufacturing the iPhone 8.

Coming to the alleged design of the device as seen in these pictures, it doesn’t look much different from the previous generations. One of the few noticeable changes in the design is the full glass back, which is believed to be included to incorporate wireless charging.

On the front, unsurprisingly, there is no home button, and many of the earlier reports have confirmed that the 2017 iPhone will launch sans its iconic home button, while the fingerprint scanner will be built right into the display. Moreover, bezels are not clearly visible, indicating a full edge-to-edge display.

But again, there is no confirmation yet, and you must take these pictures with a pinch of salt.

Another noticeable change is the phone’s frame, which has been made of steel instead of aluminium. The sturdy frame is sandwiched between two layers of glass on the front and the back. The button placement is seemingly same as the iPhone 7 series.

Coming to the back of the iPhone 8, it is just a plain black sheet of glass with the camera housing on the top left corner. The camera housing will now have two camera units placed vertically along with an LED flash and the secondary microphone. This is in line with some of the details that had leaked earlier.

If you were wondering, the camera housing still protrudes out significantly and the 3.5mm headphone jack also isn’t there.
