The Mi MIX 2S has been hovering over the internet for a while now and the recent leak of the Xiaomi’s next flagship is a beauty. The MIX series started out the bezel-less display trend and has since been getting increasingly popular. The MIX series is all set to add up yet another flagship in the bandwagon of 18:9 display smartphones. The folks at OnPhones were the first to spot the leaked video and it shows a person using the alleged Mi MIX 2S. Other than the display and some gestures there’s nothing else we could notice from the video.

Mi MIX 2S

Its screen to body ratio is better than before and it looks gorgeous! Xiaomi has been known for its budget smartphones and also for seldom copying Apple’s design. The Redmi Note 5 Pro, which was launched a few days back, features a similar vertical dual-camera housing as the iPhone X. And now, the leaked video of the alleged MIX 2S shows us the same gestures which we had earlier seen on the iPhone X. The gestures are a substitute for the on-screen navigation buttons which seem to be missing; hopefully there is an option to turn them back on.

The video shows us the person swiping up in order to access the recent apps of the device with the UI also seemingly smoother. The top of the phone cannot be seen in the video and hence, we cannot confirm if there will be an iPhone X-like notch up there or not. Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2S might as well be China’s first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. We’ll get to know more about the device in the following weeks.
