I-Life announces ZED book, ZED Air and ZED Air Pro in India

I-Life, a US based company has launched their ‘ZED’ series product lineup in India which includes entry-level Laptops and convertible notebooks, partnering with e-commerce giant Flipkart. I-Life launched —ZED Book, ZED Air, and ZED Air Pro which are priced at Rs 9,999, 12,990 and 10,999 respectively.

ZED Series notebooks and tablets are popular in the middle-east and have ruled the top spot in the entry-level category, according to IDC. The devices will be exclusively sold via Flipkart and are currently available for pre-orders. The company will start delivering orders from May 3 onwards.

I-Life has also tied up F1 Info solutions & services that will service I-Life products, covering more than 4500 pin codes.

ZED Book

Taking a look at the specifications for each of these devices, the ZED Book is a 10.1-inch Detachable Laptop which comes with an Intel Atom Quad-Core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, 10,000 mAh battery and Windows 10 preloaded. The device weighs 1.06 kg and is available in Gold and Grey color options, priced at Rs 9,999.

ZED Air

The ZED Air sports a 14-inch display, Intel Atom Quad-Core processor with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB ROM and a 10,000 mAh battery. The device weighs 1.36 kg and also comes with Windows 10 preloaded, priced at Rs 12,990 with Silver and Grey color options.

ZED Air Pro

The ZED Air Pro features an Intel Atom processor with a 12.5-inch display, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, 10,000 mAh battery and Windows 10 preloaded. The ZED Air Pro weighs 1.16 kg and is available only in Silver color, priced at Rs 10,999.

The specifications that these devices offer in the price range are mainstream. The current devices in the market in this price bracket are at par with these I-Life machines. However, the build quality seems better on these I-Life devices.  Most importantly, it is crucial to know is it practical to invest in a machine with a 2 GB RAM in 2018 where the smartphones come with 8 GB RAM? We’ll get to know about the performance of these machines when it reaches to the users.
