The launch date has been set to 14th September and the timing for the launch is specified at 2 PM local time. There was a countdown timer for the launch date on the Flipkart landing page specifically created for Moto X Play, but it is no longer there. Pre launch marketing activities are running strong. Teasers on Twitter are being run to gain attention, and pre orders. These marketing activities have been successful, as the phone is getting good amount of pre orders as of now.

Well, this can definitely be titled as the most awaited smartphone in India. So, what is high-end about Moto X Play? It seems to be a strong contender, from all the details we have managed to gather, in the high-end spec and smart budget market. It will sport a 5.5” 1080p display, and is powered with a Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with a 2 GB RAM. It comes in both 16 and 32 GB internal storage options
The Moto X Play sports a 21 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera, making high resolution photos easy and deliverable. The 30 hour battery is definitely the icing on the cake, as it offers a good amount of talk time. The phone’s powered with a 3630 mAh battery
As of now, the pricing for Moto X Play in India is being speculated. The price that has been announced for the phone is £249 which is roughly $381 USD or 25,414 INR. Of course, this is just a speculation. Actual pricing for Indian markets would be known only when the phone launches in India.
