With OnePlus 6’s launch just around the corner, a new alleged photo of the device has appeared online. The photo has been provided by a Twitter user JackyTech that can also be seen having leaked some images of the OnePlus 5T. In the image, a smartphone is shown from its present that looks like the previously leaked photos of the OnePlus 6.

The things worth noting in the photo are its notch and the Alert Slider that has switched sides. Some OnePlus executives had themselves confirmed the presence of a notch on the company’s next flagship and it can be seen here too. The Alert Slider, an iconic feature for OnePlus flagships, has been moved to the right side for the first time. Another thing the company executives had confirmed was their inability to remove the chin bezel considering technical constraints.

With that, the device renders leaked in this tweet doesn’t feature a chin bezel, thereby giving the device an iPhone X-like design. It could have been created based on the previous leaks that partially revealed the OnePlus 6’s design. While this render has a few elements that have been confirmed for the final product, there are some that are highly unlikely.

Unlike its normal schedule, OnePlus is expected to announce its next flagship a little early, possibly in May. The OnePlus 6 should come running Snapdragon 845 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash memory. Its redesigned back has leaked in a couple of photos that reveal a vertically aligned dual camera setup placed in the centre with a fingerprint scanner below it.

Notably, TrueTech had exclusively reported about the expected Indian pricing of the OnePlus 6 a while back. The new smartphone is said to be pricier than the OnePlus 5T, which has managed to gather a lot of popularity for the company, making it the biggest vendor of premium smartphones in India.
