Last year after Android Marshmallow was announced, OnePlus gave us a hint about when we could we expect it on OnePlus Devices. They had promised that they would be able to roll an update onto the devices by the end of first quarter. We’re already into second quarter and sadly, we still haven’t seen been able to enjoy our sweet Marshmallows. While OnePlus Two and OnePlus X are the priorities regarding this matter (having been launched quite recently), they absolutely haven’t forgotten the OG OnePlus One. In a recent tweet by the Co-Founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei, he said that the update for the One will be rolling out soon and that it is currently in “final stages” of testing.
Marshmallow for the One is in the final testing stage. Can’t give ETA as it depends on other parties, but should be very soon.

While he did mention that the update will be coming our way pretty soon, the exact date of release hasn’t been specified as such. We don’t quite know when that ‘soon’ is. A day? A week? A Month? Whatever it is, we’ll make sure to let you know first whenever it rolls out.
