Samsung seems to be all set to introduce Bezel-less designs or shall I say ‘Infinity Display’ into its budget-oriented smartphones. There have been some rumours floating around in the open, which interpret the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018). The cover case of Samsung Galaxy A5 has been seen on various platforms and especially on Weibo. What’s new you ask, well it has an extended 18:9 aspect ratio display that we saw in the past with high-end devices such as Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
There’s more to the rumour, other than the display you can also see what looks like a Bixby button on the side. Since the aspect ratio is 18:9 there won’t be any presence of physical or capacitive buttons on the front. There might be a fingerprint sensor at the back, just hope it won’t be like the Note 8.
Reports suggest that the A5 (2018) will feature the Samsung Exynos 7885 processor and will come with 4GB/3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. The device may come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Since dual cameras are the trend now it is expected to be seen on the A5.
Reportedly, ‘Infinity Display’ will be present in all of the Galaxy A(2018) versions. Some of the rumours also suggest that the device may come with 4 cameras just like the recently launched Honor 9i, dual selfie cameras, and dual rear cameras. The pricing and full specifications aren’t out right now. Infinity Display on a mid-range smartphone, What are your thoughts on it?
