Dual cameras are now in the ultimate vogue for smartphones in 2017. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus do not feature a set of dual cameras, rather than that, only a single 12-megapixel sensor from the well-done Samsung Galaxy S7. Nevertheless, this new leaked prototype suggests that a new Samsung Galaxy S8 is in the works and features a dual-camera setup on the rear.

As derivable from the image, the phone has the model number: SM-G955F, which is the same as the Galaxy S8. The image also depicts the dual-camera setup along with an LED flash, and a heart rate sensor located below. It is pretty engrossing to see that there is actually no fingerprint sensor visible on the phone, at least on the back of the phone like the current Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus. And as it comes through, Samsung had plans to embed it beneath the screen with their 2017 flagships. However, they couldn’t do so as the technology was not refined enough. Which implies, the same could be integrated with this probable upcoming version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and maybe the Galaxy S8 Plus, or the Note 8 as well. On top of that, the South-Korea based company filed a patent for a dual-camera based configuration in South-Korea just about a week ago, laying parallel with this leak. This indicates a unique method (probably) for the usage of the dual-camera setup. Therefore, won’t have to wait for an extended period to see Samsung’s new camera innovation.
