Vivo Y75s and Vivo Y83 specifications leaked: TENAA certification

Vivo is now working on another smartphone going to be known as Vivo Y75s. As the name suggests, the device will be the successor of Y75 which was launched in December. Vivo Y75s has recently got the TENAA certification ultimately revealing its specifications and design. On top of that, Vivo Y75s is now listed on the Vivo’s Chinese official website.

According to the TENAA listing, the device has specifications similar to V7+ except for the camera module and design is borrowed from its predecessor, Vivo Y75. One more thing worth noting is that Vivo Y75s will be accompanied by another device dubbed as Vivo Y83.

The successor of Y75 will come with a 5.99-inch FullView display having 18:9 aspect ratio which means no notch based design. Also, the display is going to be 2.5D curved one with a resolution of  720 x 1440. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The internal memory is expandable up to  256GB via Micro SD.

In terms of camera, you can expect a single camera setup at the back having a 13MP sensor with LED flash. There is a selfie snapper with a 16MP camera sensor which is also accompanied by an LED flash. As usual, the device will run on Vivo’s very own custom UI known as Funtouch OS 3.2 over Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Vivo Y75s houses a 3,225 mAh battery capacity.

Now, let’s have a look at the specs of Vivo Y83. This will feature a large 6.22-inch display FullView 2.5D curved display having an aspect ratio of 19:9. For resolution, you can expect 720 x 1520 pixel. There is no info on which chipset the device will run on. Although, it will run on a 2.0 GHz octa-core CPU paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which is again expandable via Micro SD.

This one also comes with a single 13MP camera sensor with an LED flash. The front, on the other hand, has an 8MP camera sensor. It seems like there is no front LED flash on this model. Although, Vivo Y83 runs on the latest version of Android i.e 8.1 Oreo with a custom Funtouch OS 4.0. It is packed with a 3,180mAh battery capacity.

The listing also reveals the colors of both these devices. Vivo Y75s will be available in Deep Blue, Matte Black, Red and Champagne Gold colors while Vivo Y83 will land in Black and Champagne Gold. There is no word on the official release date, availability, and pricing. Both of the smartphones will launch soon. Looking at the specs, we can speculate that both the devices will fall under the mid-budget category.
