Xiaomi was the first to introduce bezel-less displays to the market with its Mi MIX series and since then the phone’s design has come a long way. Reportedly, the MIX 2S will be launched on March 27 and it’s already confirmed to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC which makes it the first ever device from Xiaomi to have one.

The company has been teasing its upcoming flagship on Twitter since last few weeks, along with the the Redmi 5, which is expected to be announced on March 14. Although, the latest news comes from the official account of Xiaomi on Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging website. The teaser does not explicitly mention that the device will support wireless charging but it does indicate towards the same. The image contains a device, which most probably is a wireless charging pad, with a large bolt sign above it, which resembles the Qualcomm Quick Charge logo.

Similar rumours has been surfacing the web for quite some time and it looks like Xiaomi might have just cleared the air. Also, earlier reports suggested that the device may have the Qi wireless charging standard along with support for Google ARCore. The Mi MIX 2S is rumoured to sport a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 pixel display up front with an iPhone X-like notch. As mentioned above the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. It also sports a vertically aligned dual-camera setup at the rear which will most probably be AI-powered. The device is expected to run on Android Oreo with MIUI 9 on top along with a 3400mAh battery and, of course, wireless charging.
