Samsung Galaxy Fold Marketing Campaigns Starting Soon: Samsung

After going through a rough patch after the many units of Samsung Galaxy Fold failed at many instances, Samsung is ready to re-launch the device although the date hasn’t been fixed yet. According to the latest update, Samsung has reportedly finished a complete redesign of its upcoming foldable smartphone and also tested it in-house and in the real world and it is gearing up for its marketing campaign soon.

Also spotted in a New Delhi metro system, the Samsung Galaxy Fold was a big hit was launched at the Unpacked 2019 event back in February, however, as soon as tech reviewers and other unit testers found out issues with its hinge and the foldable display that went viral, Samsung had to recall all the units and put the sales to start in April on hold. Although a July launch was expected, it seems like Samsung won’t make it for a July launch but the South Korean giant is holding its next big Unpacked event on August where it will launch the Note 10 series.

Since Huawei has quoted the September month when it will launch its Mate X foldable phone that was also put on hold due to complications with the folding mechanism, Samsung may want to ditch Huawei and instead launch its foldable phone first. Anyways, when is Samsung Galaxy Fold launching will also be a big question at the Unpacked 2019 event as well.

Samsung reportedly had hired influencers from Netflix Originals Millie Bobby Brown and Fortnite streamer Ninja among others to promote its Galaxy Fold. However, it has insisted them to work on Galaxy S10 and S10 5G for now unlike we hear about an imminent launch date for Galaxy Fold.

Samsung Galaxy Fold had problems with the hinge it uses to fold the phone while there were issues with the protective film mounted on the foldable display as well. Samsung has reportedly found ways to mitigate both the issues to roll out the device in its upcoming relaunch so we could expect it soon.
