OnePlus had announced the Indian prices of its latest flagships – OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro recently. OnePlus 8 starts at 41,999 INR whereas OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, starts at 54,999 INR, which is fundamentally priced less than the pricetags set by the company elsewhere. Now, with the launch of these two smartphones, OnePlus has slashed the price of the OnePlus 7T Pro by up to 6,000 INR in India.

Currently, the phone is listed on the OnePlus official website with a price tag of 47,999 INR. The initial price for the same was 53,999 INR. But still, the revised price of the same has not been updated on Amazon India. The price slash did not affect the price of the regular OnePlus 7T. The device still stands at 34,999 INR. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Editon also maintains its original price tag which is 58,999 INR. The query that emerges now is – Does this price cut make OnePlus 7T Pro a superior deal than the OnePlus 8 Pro?

Well, OnePlus 8 Pro is without a doubt more powerful than the OnePlus 7T Pro. OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC but in any case, this doesn’t imply that OnePlus 7T Pro is less powerful. The 7T Pro is grounded on the Snapdragon 855+ chipset which still offers great performance and overall user experience.

OnePlus 7T Pro Specifications and Features

OnePlus 7T comes with a smooth and responsive 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. The display here has a 90Hz refresh rate and supports HDR 10+. The edges of the display are curved like the OnePlus 8 Pro which is aimed to deliver an immersive viewing experience. The display is notch-less with 89% screen to body ratio.

OnePlus 7T Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Adreno 640 handles the graphic duties here. The 7T Pro can perform any tasks you throw at it and will still manage to produce solid frame rates while gaming. The device is primarily made available in two variants. The standard variant comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage and the top variant comes with the same 8 GB of RAM but with 256 GB of onboard storage. But currently, only the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage variant is available!

As for the optics, the device comes with a triple rear camera with a 48 MP Exmor-RS CMOS primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 26mm focal length. The secondary unit is a 16 MP Ultra-Wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 51mm focal length. The third unit is an 8 MP telephoto unit with up to 2X optical zoom. Phase detection Autofocus, 4K 30 FPS, and support for full-fledged manual camera take an account here. The front-facing is a 16 MP pop-up selfie camera unit with f/2.0 aperture.

The device runs Android 10 out of the box with Oxygen OS 10 on top. Oxygen OS is a feature-rich interface which offers near to stock experience with a compact UI. All this is backed by a 4085 mAh battery which does support OnePlus Warp Charge. The device is made available only in the Haze Blue color option and is currently being sold on OnePlus official site for 47,999 INR. The same price is not made available on Amazon on the account of the website not selling non-essential items including smartphones in the wake of Coronavirus Pandemic.
