Are you in the market looking for new pair of earbuds? Then you may want to hit the brakes for one more month! Nothing, the startup founded by Carl Pei who was the former Co-founder OnePlus has finally announced the launch date of its Ear 1. The company will unveil its Ear 1 TWS earbuds on July 27 and this will be the first product from Nothing. Being backed by various investors including Alphabet’s GV, Kevin Lin (Twitch Co-Founder), Kunal Shah (Cred Founder), Tony Fadell (iPod inventor), and others, Nothing Ear 1 is aimed to go toe-to-toe against the likes of AirPods, Beats Studio Buds, WF-1000XM4’s of the world.
As for the launch, Ear 1 will be launched at 2 PM BST (9 AM EDT and 6.30 PM IST. As for what to expect from Ear 1, Nothing claims to have a combination of “transparency, iconic form, and functionality.” The transparent design could possibly be the USP here. Unlike most of the tech startups, Nothing is not leaving India behind and it has confirmed to make its debut in the country alongside the global market. Meaning, the upcoming TWS earbuds will be launched in India and the company has also appointed Manu Sharma (Samsung Executive) as its market chief in the country. The Ear 1 will be available to purchase from Flipkart.
At this time, we do not have a lot of information around the upcoming Nothing Ear 1 but it is worth noting that the company has announced that it will be joined by Teenage Engineering as a founding partner of the company and it is said that the company has played a key role in designing the Ear 1.
