Just a day after 5K renders for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra leaked thanks to the tipster OnLeaks, we now have official-looking renders for Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus as well. The phone looks different from the Ultra variant and here’s what we have found till now.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Renders

Talking about the vanilla version aka Samsung Galaxy S22, leakster OnLeaks along with Zouton posted the renders showcasing a design that resembles a lot like the Galaxy S21. It shows a flat front and back panel with healthy bezels on top.

The camera bump looks almost the same i.e. a triple camera setup arranged vertically clad with metal housing which is a node to Galaxy S21. Although it is mentioned that the phone will bring an improved camera bump, there are rumors that we could see a 50MP, 12MP ultrawide, and a telephoto unit on-board.

Moving on, the phone is likely to bring dimensions of 146 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm while at the camera bump, the thickness is at 9.1mm. If the dimensions are accurate, this will make the upcoming S22 a bit shorter in height, width, and thickness alike.

The device is likely to get around 6” of display with an FHD+ resolution and a centrally placed punch-hole cut-out for the selfie camera. Other details include a SIM tray and USB-C port at the bottom, power button and volume rocker on the right, and so on.

Samsung Galaxy S22+ Renders

Galaxy S22+ is an elder sibling to the Galaxy S22 and brings on-board a large 6.5-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. There’s a centrally placed punch-hole cut-out on the S22+ too.

Moving on, we have dimensions of 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 with 9.1mm thickness when the camera bump is included in the measurements. The Pro variant gets a few advanced features although it remains similar to the vanilla variant for most of the aspects such as the design.

There’s the same triple rear camera setup arranged vertically with a metal housing around it and it has a considerable size, to be honest. The phone does appear to have a flat display and a flat back panel, unlike the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to arrive around late January although the dates are yet to be confirmed. The trio will get Android 12-powered OneUI 4.0 once they arrive and that’s without a doubt. Also, there won’t be any chargers available in the retail boxes yet again.
