Poco M4 Pro 5G Specifications
Xiaomi has unleashed the successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G dubbed as the Poco M4 Pro 5G which is now better than before. The device has a 6.6-inch 1080p+ 90Hz punch-hole display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is essentially larger than M3 Pro 5G’s 6.5-inch. The touch sampling rate has been improved from 180Hz to 240Hz making it snappier than before. Furthermore, the panel is lit at a typical 450 nits of brightness which is ~50 nits brighter than M3 Pro 5G. It further has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection against falls.
The Chinese OEM has made a significant improvement in terms of performance thanks to the Dimensity 810 SoC. According to the smartphone maker, the AnTuTu scores for Dimensity 810 are at 394,094 points while the Dimensity 700 has 327,812 points. The device has dual 5G support onboard.
You get 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage with up to 1TB expandability. There’s 6GB of RAM as well. There’s Android 11-powered MIUI V12.5 out-of-the-box and there’s no doubt the device will get two more upgrades as well.
Moving on, the device is paired with a dual-camera setup even though you will see various lenses on top. It has a 50MP primary sensor up from the 48MP sensor used on M3 Pro along with an 8MP ultrawide snapper with a 119-degree field of view. This gives Poco M4 Pro 5G a much better outlook for photography and videography. The best thing about Poco M4 Pro 5G is the camera island which isn’t raised across the whole width although there’s a black-colored patch that runs across the width.
You get a 5,000 mAh battery onboard with a much speedier 33W fast charging tech capable of juicing up the battery from 0 to 100% in just 59 minutes. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a stereo speaker, among other functionalities.
