Apple Far Out Event To Be Held On September 7
Apple has finally sent out media invites for the September 7 launch dubbed with the tagline “Far Out”. It is scheduled to go live at 10am PT. The event will be in-person at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino at Apple’s HQ and the first post-pandemic.
Although Apple hasn’t let all the cats out of the bag in terms of what products we could see at the invite, there are some obvious products to launch. The iPhone 14 series will undoubtedly steal all the limelight at the event. At least four models are expected to roll out which means a 6.1″ iPhone 14, a 6.7″ iPhone 14 (Plus or Max), a 6.1″ iPhone 14 Pro and a full-out iPhone 14 Pro Max. As you can read, the iPhone 14 mini is out of the picture unless Apple is secretly trying to launch it at the event and we aren’t aware of it.
The new iPhones will bring “new” improvements for sure. There’s a punch-hole cut-out for the selfie shooter alongwith a pill-shaped notch that will replace the current iPhone X-ish notch. Apart from that, the Pro models will get the Apple A16 Bionic SoC while the non-Pro models will stick to an Apple A15 Bionic SoC from last year.
Apple could go all-out maxing megapixels on the cameras so we could see a 48MP snapper onboard this time. The launch event’s teaser has a star-glazed space-like appearance which hits that either Apple is working towards outfitting the upcoming iPhone 14 series with a better telephoto mode or an astrophotography mode as well.
Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The event will continue with the Apple Watch Series 8 launch and we could easily see three models – Watch Series 8, 8 Pro, and SE that will be technically better than the previous iterations.
There have been quite some reports revolving around other products at the launch as well so we could get newer Mac Pro (highly likely given Apple affirmed it at some point), iPads, and possibly new AirPods Pro at the event too.
So yeah, are you ready for the September 7th Apple Far Out launch event yet? Check out this space for more details.
