- Apple has sued Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech after he spilled beans around iOS 26 before its launches.
- This hasn't stopped FPT from spilling more beans on the iPhone 17 Pro renders that has just gone live on their YouTube channel.
- Apple is bringing a new camera bar on-board iPhone 17 Pro which is likely Pixel-inspired but for a good reason.
Presenting the latest iPhone 17 Pro renders, well unofficially, but they exist now but Apple is not happy with it. Apple recently sued Front Page Tech (FPT.) for their monstrous iOS 26 leaks in the development. Seems like this fueled them to roll out detailed iPhone 17 Pro renders on their YouTube channel, marking it as a ‘near-final’ model before it enters production shortly.
Apple sued FPT, and yet another iPhone 17 Pro renders is out
You would think FPT would get paranoid after Apple pressed legal actions against previous leaks. Seems like the publication is now going strong pushing leaks despite the impending legal action.
Based on the latest iPhone 17 Pro renders, it is safe to assume that the Cupertino-based giant is all set to introduce a side-to-side camera bump. In fact, the camera bump has caused the phone to increase its thickness by half a millimeter, and perhaps, we know why.
For the unversed, the leaked iPhone 17 Pro renders that you can check out on the Front Page Tech say it is a ‘near-final’ model, and thus, we might see these exact dimensions arrive next month. The side-to-side camera bar will appear across iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max while the standard iPhone 17 sticks to an iPhone 16e-esque vertical camera bump.
Circling back to the iPhone 17 Pro, the updated camera bar is likely to house Apple’s telephoto periscope lens. Apple had used a 120mm tetratropism periscope zoom lens on board the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and now, we will see it across both Pro models. In fact, FPT mentions Apple could be looking forward to increasing the lens size and optical zoom capabilities that will translate into bigger sensors and thus, the camera bar offers a perfect ground to house the tech.
Speculations suggest we could see iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max with a 48MP telephoto sensor apart from the 48MP primary sensor. The result is a thickness of 8.73mm, an increase from iPhone 16 Pro’s 8.25mm; however, possibly for good measure.
In other news, Apple is likely to change the position of its Apple logo. It will take a slightly lower position. There’s also news about a 5,000mAh battery pack, the first for Apple, on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Tipster Majin Bu recently showcased an iPhone 17 Pro clad in orange. It looks good; however, it remains to be seen if this is a Pro-exclusive colorway. In any case, we will get to see the iPhone 17 Series arriving on September 9, exactly a month from today. Hold on your horses as we will take you on a journey across the upcoming iPhone 17 Series, both before the phones actually launch and once they debut, so stick around for more.
