August 20, mark today as the day when the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold makes its debut. Made by Google event starring Jimmy Fallon was a great success, and I would say the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold took most of the credit. We know about the latest foldable already; however, with the launch, here’s what the phone has to offer, literally.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is finally here, and here’s what you should know
Pixel 10 Pro Fold hasn’t changed much compared to its predecessor, Pixel 9 Pro Fold. There’s a tad bit larger 6.4” external panel, though (whereas the 9 Pro Fold has a 6.3”). Google has done work in its display sector spiking the brightness across both internal and external displays from 2,700 to 3,000 nits. Having a brighter display makes it much easier to view your phone under sunlight, so that’s something I would laud for.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold uses an 8” OLED Super Actua Flex panel as its primary with a refresh rate of 120Hz, the same goes for the external display. Overall, the display looks neat with could-have-been-slimmed-down bezels, but that’s something I would give Google a pass with, given the foldable tech hasn’t matured much lately.
The phone, without any doubt, uses Tensor G5 SoC, the top-of-the-line chipset from Google. It is equipped with 256GB/512GB, 1TB of storage, and 16GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 16 with an unsurprising coverage of seven years’ worth of software updates. Now that’s called a truly long-lasting phone.
Without any further ado, we give you a bunch of AI features on the Pro, including Gemini AI, Camera Coach, real-time photography tips, and more. Even if Apple decides to bring its AI capabilities, Google literally dwarfs it.
Check out the camera and you’ll get a cutting-edge triple rear camera. In fact, this is probably the first time Google (or say any other major brand) has done so across the board, including the vanilla series. Coming back to Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the phone does have a 48MP primary, a 10.5MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom. Flip and you’ll see two 10MP selfie shooters housed in their respective camera punches.
Next up, we have the battery as the primary (and only) source of power. Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold battery has a peak rating of 5,015mAh. It has actually gained ~10% of the juice compared to the predecessor, although it still lies under the Galaxy Z Fold7 lineup. There’s Qi2 charging at 15W on-board Pixel 10 Pro Fold, plus a 30W wired PPS charging that completes its battery specs.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold got upgraded to an IP68 rating, finally
A few weeks ago, we heard that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold would get an IP68 rating. Well, turns out it is true after all. The phone has gained an IP68 rating, providing the immense water and dust protection that it would need, especially knowing that it is indeed a foldable phone we are talking about. It also puts Google ahead of its competitors, such as Motorola Razr Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, that has inadequate protection, say IP48.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold pricing

When it comes to the pricing, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold costs around $1,799 for the base 256GB trim; $1,919 for the 512GB trim; and $2,149 for the 1TB trim. For the Indian market, you can expect to pay upwards of 1.50 lacs INR for the top variant. Finally, you can choose between Obsidian, Moonstone, and Jade colorways when making up your mind for the purchase.
