The OnePlus 7 is expected to launch in Q2 2019. This is basically in-line with OnePlus’ six-monthly refresh cycle for its smartphones. We are still a few weeks away from OnePlus 7 launch, we are seeing lots of OnePlus 7 renders and leaks giving us the hints how one of the most awaited smartphones of 2019 may look and what new features will it introduce.

Some fresh OnePlus 7 renders reaffirm its design and also suggest new gradient color variants that OnePlus will throw at its users to choose from. Gradient colors in OnePlus devices were first introduced in the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple, so it is expected that its successor will offer more gradient choices. The dual tone colors are Black Yellow, Black Purple and, Cyan Grey as seen in the OnePlus 7 render.

Renders also confirm that OnePlus 7 will be hosting a triple camera setup on its rear and a pop-up selfie snapper. A pop-up selfie camera is shown along with a triple-camera setup at the back as per the latest render posted by GizmoChina. Below the camera, we see an LED flash followed by the company’s logo. The motorized camera suggests the OnePlus 7 will come with a full-screen, notch-less and hole-less display. Talking about punched camera displays, the Galaxy S10 generated a great hype in early 2019 majorly due to a hole in the display which houses the front camera.

Apart from camera setups, not much is known about the upcoming OnePlus’ flagship phone. The smartphone is expected to retain the in-display fingerprint scanner; although a much powerful and faster one this time. The spec sheet would also boast a Snapdragon 855 processor. It is expected to be backed by Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9 with 8GB/10GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage and close to 4,000mAh battery. It might also boast faster Warp charging capability for fast charging.

A direct rival to OnePlus 7 would be the Samsung Galaxy S10. Although the OnePlus 7 would get a lower price tag than S10, they are quite comparable in the sense that the S10 too is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor teamed up with 6GB of RAM. It also boasts an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a gorgeous AMOLED display along with a punched hole in the display to fit the camera giving a sight to behold.
