We know that when the world was dealing with a pandemic and the early stages of it with the lockdowns put in place all over the world, there was one company absolutely flying during that period. The company we are talking about is none other than the e-commerce giant Amazon headed by Jeff Bezos. Because of the pandemic and the retail stores being forced to close down due to social distancing and lack of staff, the online orders absolutely skyrocketed and Amazon was finding it hard to deliver all the orders even with a few weeks’ delay.

However, we do know that Amazon customers also understood the same and still kept ordering from them will all the delays. At the same time, we were also waiting for the Amazon’s Prime Day sale which is said to be the biggest day the entire year for Amazon in terms of single-day sales. But as expected, Amazon delayed their Prime Day sale indefinitely because it was absolutely not the time to have a sale.

Later on, Amazon delayed the Prime Day sale which takes place in June traditionally to September at least. Now, we have a new report which reveals that the Prime Day sale 2020 is going to take place in October. The Verge reports that they have seen an internal mail being sent out to Amazon employees regarding the same. As per the email, the Amazon Prime Day sale will take place on October 13-14.

It is also reported that Amazon will make an official announcement of the Prime Day sale on September 27. Also worth noting is that Amazon does not want the Black Friday sales as well as its Prime Day sales to overlap each other and it does make sense as well. So it is more than likely the sales for Prime Day will be held in the first half of October. Traditionally, Amazon has been holding their Prime Day sales on Monday so it is possible that the dates could be October 12-13 but October 13-14 is what TheVerge says.
