Nexus 6P Leaked by Presentation Slides

It’s a hilarious situation, first, Amazon.in leaks out the Nexus 5X and now, before the official Google event, the upcoming Nexus 6P is leaked! It pretty emerges that someone official from Google has uploaded the screenshots of the presentation slides on Imgur. Well, it’s not as small as you think, from what’s good and what’s over the dark, all the specs and design ergonomics were outed altogether.

What’s more towards all of our interest – the specs! Here, not all the details were leaked but most of it was so significantly brought out. A metal unibody phone with a 5.7 QHD display panel, a SnapDragon 810 (v2.1) chipset, front facing speakers, USB Type C, our beloved Android Marshmallow and a huge jar of juice, 3450mAh battery. A factor that may boost the battery life to unexpected levels could be the Doze feature on Android Marshmallow.

The design ergonomics are being criticised by most of the crowd, yes, it’s not too exciting but it will be a metal unibody phone with a premium edge that’s well crafted. The camera yet protrudes.

Now coming to the back, Nexus 5X and 6P have a similar design, they seem to have a fingerprint reader on both of the devices. The presentation marks evidences that mention presence of a fingerprint sensor on the Nexus 6P. This will add on to the native support to Android Marshmallow’s fingerprint sensing.

What the presentation talks more is all about the new Android M features, Now on Tap, Doze, app permission controls etc. It also confirms that the Nexus 6P will come in various options such as 32GB, 64GB and 128GB along with a choice over these colours: silver, black, white and gold (gold only for Japan – initially).

We are really excited for the new nexuses, but what tricks and pricks our minds is that all the slides contain the old Google logo. Is this something that only we think? What do you guys think about it? Anyways, lets wait till 29th September!
