Walk into a KFC and order to Chicken Zinger burger and that would cost you around Rs. 300 but what if I told you that you can add a little bit and a get a feature phone with 4G, video calling, and Google Assistant feature at Rs 501 in an exclusive exchange scheme. Reliance unveiled the successor to Jio Phone that was launched last year. Jio Phone 2 is truly a feature phone with smartphone-like features. About its specifications, it has a 4GB internal storage which is by far the biggest storage you can see in a ‘feature phone’ and that can be extended to 128GB using microSD card. Further, it has a 512MB RAM. The device has sported a 0.3-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera and considering its ‘feature phone’ stature and a price tag of Rs. 2,999 which is roughly $44, it is a pretty great phone to buy. It has a 2,000mAh battery under the hood and that’s just a few things about the specifications.

Let’s discuss the end-less features now and I guarantee that you will be blown by the huge list that will be mentioned here. Jio Phone 2 has video calling feature that enables users to video call, someone, using VoLTE and that’s something you wouldn’t see on a feature phone. Further, it has 4G mobile network which is another first for a phone less than the price of Android Go devices which commence with a price tag upwards of five grand. I understand about a single 4G SIM compatible phone but what if I say that the Jio Phone 2 has a dual 4G SIM support.

The device has a cut-down version of Google Assistant which although mind not be able to do everything you say to a Samsung Galaxy S9+, but it surely does all the basic tasks with ease such as playing music, calling someone, or weather updates or even checking sports scores such as cricket or football scores. It has a browser that can run Facebook and a WhatsApp app that works pretty fine considering the package of a smartphone bundled in a feature smartphone that costs only three KFC Zinger burger if you buy it clubbed with its exchange offer.
