Vivo Y12G launched with Snapdragon 439, 3GB RAM and HD+ display

Vivo Y12 series already has five smartphones and with that being said, Vivo has added a sixth one dubbed as Vivo Y12G. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC along with Android 11 out-of-the-box, a giant HD+ display among others. Here’s everything that you need to know about the latest Vivo Y12G.

Vivo Y12G packs in a Snapdragon 439 SoC under the hood and runs on FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. The device has a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD panel housing a waterdrop-shaped notch and an 8MP selfie shooter. There’s a dual rear camera setup at the back housed in a rectangular-shaped notch with vertically stacked 13MP and a 2MP module along with a third dummy module.

The device has a single storage configuration i.e. 3GB+32GB and comes with a memory card slot with an expandability of up to 256GB.

There’s a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood that uses a MicroUSB port for charging and data sharing. The device supports 5W reverse wired charging as well which is although not fast but it is certainly a feature that could receive some traction.

You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right which is a bit recessed. The phone shares similarities to Vivo Y12s 2021 that was launched in Vietnam in May this year.

The Vivo Y12G has been launched in India in a single storage configuration i.e. 3GB+32GB and it is available at Rs 10,990/-. Check out between Phantom Black and Glacier Blue color variants and it will be available on Vivo India here on. The device will be available on Amazon, Tatacliq, Paytm, Flipkart, among others.
