We know that the software companies of the world host developer conferences every year and this is the same for Microsoft, Facebook, Apple and Google as well among others. Now, we know that the Coronavirus impact is such that it is not possible to hold physical events right now since no one is allowed to gather and attend them.
For that reason, we know that companies such as Microsoft, Apple and Google have announced their developer conference this year to be virtual. Apple’s WWDC developer conference was already said to be hosted in June this year and now we have further confirmation of the same.
The company has revealed that its annual developer conference will be held starting on June 22 this year. Since this is a virtual conference, anyone and everyone can attend and it will be totally free to attend. Coming to the WWDC 2020, we should expect the showcase of iOS 14 at the keynote which will be held on the opening day of this conference.
Apple is also hyping up the WWDC 2020 by claiming that it will be “biggest yet”. It is worth noting that WWDC 2020 will be 31st annual conference from Apple which is a monumental achievement in itself. It is also expected that Apple will release some updates regarding its services and announce new ones at the annual conference this year since it has not hosted a separate services-based announcement this year.
We have also been saying that products such as the Apple AirTag, renewed AirPower which is a unique all-in-one charging mat from Apple, new iMac, Macbook Pro 14, Apple over-ear headphones as well as many more items are lined up. So we can make a good guess that many of these products will be released or at least announced during the keynote.
While nothing has been confirmed from Apple as yet, it is expected that the keynote would start on June 22 at 10 AM Pacific Time. To attend the event, you need to just be a registered developer with Apple. However, as always, the keynote should be live-streamed and everyone will be able to watch it.
