If that’s not all, we have heard about an iPhone 13-inspired Apple Watch Pro in the works that are likely to make its presence at the September 7 launch event as well.
Apple Watch Pro: What Do We Know So Far
Apparently, there’s a lot of buzz around the Apple Watch Pro likely to arrive at the September 7 Apple Far Out launch event. It will be a rugged smartphone with a few design upgrades.
According to Macotakara, the Apple Watch Pro is likely to pack in a 1.99” display with a 47mm case size offering a larger screen area by 7 pc compared to Watch 7’s 41mm and 45mm cases that have 1.9-inch displays. Apart from that, it is likely a beefier version of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 thanks to a larger battery. It will let the smartwatch handle physical activities and workouts for longer since it is rugged in nature and will have a rugged metal casing along with a shatter-resistant screen.
The report also mentions that the purported Apple Watch pro will get a flat display inspired by iPhone 13 Pro. It will be made up of titanium carrying a price tag between $900 and $999 although we aren’t sure what price point will be confirmed once the smartwatch arrives.
Moving on, there’s information on the chipset onboard i.e. S8 chip which won’t provide much of a performance upgrade as seen on S6 and S7 alike.
For now, all we know is that the Far Out launch event scheduled for September 7 will be epic as it is where iPhone 14 series (with at least four models) will arrive along with Apple Watch Series 8(again, two models) plus the iPad, Mac, and other key announcements.
