We are just a week away from seeing the Galaxy Note 8 officially launch in New York. The video doesn’t openly reveal any information about the device itself but gives a cryptic message about what you can expect from the phone. With that, Samsung has also fired a few shots at the Apple iPhone during the video.

The video has the prime focus on the S-Pen that comes along with all the Galaxy Note series phones. A number of words appear on the screen one after the other and the S-Pen can be seen cutting through the word and a new word appears on the side depicting how the Galaxy Note 8 would be better. For example, “talk” becomes “act”, “step” becomes “leap”, and so on.

Talking about these buzzwords, there were certain words that reminded us of Apple iPhone. Like “closed” was replaced with “open”, “follow” with “lead”, “update” with “innovate”, and a few more. These are the words that we use to describe Apple iPhone sometimes. “Follow” might indicate the use of the edge-to-edge display in the upcoming iPhone 8 after Samsung started the trend. According to this, Samsung innovates but others, including Apple, just update their old devices and repackage them.
