Earlier this week there was a huge iPhone 6S features leak, which claimed to reveal the most crucial details of the upcoming flagship from Apple. The leak revealed the camera, the amount of RAM, the screen size and other features, including a feature that could revolutionize smartphone usability. Could Force Touch on the iPhone 6S be a Samsung Galaxy S6 killing feature?

The details of the iPhone 6S were obtained from a research note made by market analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, of KGI Securities, which was leaked to an Apple Insider. The note suggests that the iPhone 6S will feature a 12MP shooter at the back, 2GB of RAM, and a screen size between 4.7 and 5.5 inch (the 5.5-inch screen size could be for the special Plus model).

When you look at the features, they don’t seem to be that massive threat to the Samsung Galaxy S6. Samsung has, for some year now, held the edge over Apple in terms of the flagship specs, and that also seems to be the trend at the iPhone 6S.

One features that really stood out on the iPhone 6S leak was ‘Force Touch’. The features that could be brought over from the MacBook trackpad, uses electrodes in the Retina display to identify if you press on the screen lightly or that you’re pressing hard.

The Force Touch feature is already used in the Apple Watch. And with a hard press you can bring up the additional options in Apple apps. But, on a larger screen there is a lot more potential for the feature, will there be more than 2 degrees of sensitivity? Could it take smartphone gaming to the next level?

While the Samsung Galaxy S6 features, such as the Edge display and the heartbeat sensor are amazing, I need to admit that a force sensitivity touchscreen would be a revolutionary feature, but for me (an Android user) it doesn’t add that much that I would run to the Apple Store to buy it. But, everyone has their own opinion about it. How do you think about it? Are you going to run to the store to buy it when it gets the Force Touch feature?
