After teasing its first-ever 64MP camera smartphone, Realme resorted to launching it later as the latest Realme 5 and 5 Pro don’t have the 64MP sensor. But there’s Xiaomi which showcased its 64MP camera technology as well although it was earlier believed to launch sometime in Q4 2019, the latest post by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer points out something else.

According to the said Xiaomi’s post on Weibo, the Chinese brand is ready to showcase the first-ever 64MP sensor on its Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro on August 29 alongside Redmi Note 8 which might not have the giant sensor.

The teaser image tagged with the moniker Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro shows a unique triple camera setup arranged in a vertical setting housing the latest Samsung 64MP ISOCELL sensor along with two other sensors and a fourth sensor housed to the right with LED flash. The 64MP sensor can snap images to its excellent clarity and details thanks to its 9000×7000

pixel resolution which brings 64 million pixels onboard a small camera sensor that captures more light and produces photos using 4-in-1 pixel binning technology at 16MP resolution while the bigger 1/1.7-inch sensor size adds to its high-end color reproduction, higher dynamic range and a lot more to its portfolio.

Moving further, the teaser shows that Note 8 Pro will not entertain an in-display fingerprint reader and will resort to the usual optical rear-mounted fingerprint scanner placed right under the rear camera module.

The front camera is probably a 25MP sensor housed in a teardrop-shaped notch while the chin and the bezels have been reduced to allow higher screen real estate. According to a yet unconfirmed specs listing, the Note 8 Pro will feature a Media Helio G90T octa-core processor with 6+128GB storage model although there might be other storage options available with it as well.

We will have to wait for a while until more information isn’t available about the upcoming Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro scheduled for launch on August 29 that you can check out about here at True-Tech. Surprisingly enough, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 or 5 (since the number ‘4’ is usually skipped in China) will house an even advanced and powerful 108MP sensor expected to blow your mind without any doubt so stick to this site to know more about what’s happening in the tech world.
