Today, ASUS launched its successor to the Zenfone 3 Max in India – the ASUS Zenfone 3s Max. It is available in black and gold and can be bought both in stores and through online channels for a price of ₹14,999 ($220).

It’s only been three months since the launch of the Zenfone 3 Max and such a quick upgrade seems quite absurd, but ASUS claims to have expanded a series due to “overwhelming response” regarding this phone.

One of the most loved features of the Zenfone 3 Max was its enormous battery, coming in at 4,100 mAh. It’s getting even larger with this new model, with a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh. With this, ASUS claims to give you “up to 38 days of 4G standby time, 28 hours of 3G talk time, and 25 hours of Web browsing.”

We haven’t had the opportunity to get our hands on one yet, but if or when we do, we might do a full review on it here or on our YouTube channel, so stay tuned for that.
