Good news for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” fans as the movie has scheduled to release on December 16 in India, it is a day earlier than previously stated and has been confirmed by Sony Pictures India on its Twitter handle although it resorted to not mention any specific reason as to the prepone release date for the movie.

Spider-Man: Not Way Home starring Tom Holland and Zendaya will launch in India on December 16 in English, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. This is rather interesting as the movie will arrive in the U.S. a day later on December 17.

Moving on, the movie will arrive in the U.S., Cameroon, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Spain, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Canada on December 17. The moviegoers in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong will have to wait till December 23. Finally, the movie will release in Japan on January 7 and then in the Philippines on January 8 and that’s pretty much the movie release roster.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man (and Peter Parker), Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange (and Doctor Strange). Peter’s aunt May Parker is being played by the talented Marisa Tomei along with Job Favreau as Happy Hogan.

Talking about the villains in the movie, there are many. Jamie Foxx returns as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the Green Goblin from the original Spider-Man is being played by Willem Dafoe, then there’s Doctor Octopus played by Alfred Molina (from Spider-Man 2). There’s Sandman from Spider-Man 3 played by Thomas Haden Church and finally, Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man returns, played by Rhys Ifans. Perhaps what will be more interesting is the rumored cameo by earlier spider-man i.e. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, although it remains a rumor at least at the time of writing this.
