After teasing itself in various leaks, rumors & whatnot, Realme X50 Pro Player has been finally made official in China along with two other smartphones. The phone does share almost all the specifications with the Realme X50 but it does add its whole zing to the mix.

Talking about the specifications, the phone features a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate on-board. Next up, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset which is the most powerful Snapdragon SoC to date. Furthermore, there’s up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB of internal storage although a few other variants will arrive as well

What Realme has included in the Realme X50 Pro Player edition is its HyperBoost 3.0 feature that offers unparalleled gaming experience in Mumbai. It reports zero lag when switching from Wi-Fi to 4G or 5G networks. Apart from that, the feature adds a smoother shopping experience while improving gaming as well. It will shut down apps both in the foreground and background where the HyperBoost 2.0 will take care of it. Moreover, it will silent any notifications and calls that could disturb others.

Realme is also using a graphite sheet for better heat dissipation for an optical gaming experience like never before. Next up, Realme has done some downgrades such as the primary sensor at the back is now at 48MP instead of 64MP as on Realme X50. Next up, the telephoto lens is gone and it is now replaced by a 2MP macro sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The same can be seen on the front dual-camera module as the primary sensor has been downgraded from 32MP to 16MP plus a 2MP depth sensor.

Realme X50 Pro Player is equipped with the same giant-sized 4,200 mAh battery accompanied by 65W fast charging capabilities. This will juice up the battery from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes. Plug in the phone to the charger for 3 minutes and you’ll get battery backup of over an hour of Talktime.

Other features include an under-the-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, 5G support, Dolby Audio, and others. Talking about the price tag, Realme X50 Pro Player Edition 6+128GB is available at RMB 2,999 or Rs 31,940/-. The middle variant with 8+128GB of storage goes on sale at RMB 3,299 or Rs 35,130/- while the larger 12+128GB of storage is available at RMB 3,599 or Rs 38,330/.
