Samsung is preparing for their upcoming event where the brand will unveil their next generation Galaxy Note device. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch event is scheduled for August 9 in New York. The device has been in numerous leaks revealing it bit by bit.

The device has recently surfaced on the TENAA listing revealing not so much about it. In the listing, the smartphone appears with the model number SM-N9600. Unfortunately, the listing didn’t reveal any specifications of the device except for the fact that it would run on an Android operating system. Apart from that, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has previously got the FCC certification revealing S pen with Bluetooth support.

We still don’t have concrete evidence when it comes to device’s specifications. The brand will likely go with AMOLED panel with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 indicating Infinity Display. Speaking of the processor, the global variant is likely to be powered by the brand’s own Exynos 9810 chipset while the US and China variant will go with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.

One thing which was highly discouraged by the reviewers and fans in the previous Galaxy Note 8 was the odd placement of fingerprint sensor. As per the renders, this time the fingerprint sensor will be placed below the camera setup.

Adding to the story, the render images of the Galaxy Note 9 was leaked yesterday by a tech publication which goes by the name Android Headlines. Unfortunately, the render images only show the front part of the device. If we go with this image, then the upcoming Galaxy Note is quite similar to its previous generation one. The only difference in the front would be slightly thinner bottom bezel in Galaxy Note 9. If we look at the Galaxy S9 which also looks similar to its previous generation S8, then this renders images might be an accurate one.

According to the ETNews, the Korean company will have the device in store on August 24th. This is just a little more than 2 weeks after the official unveiling at the New York. It seems like the brand is in a hurry which actually is obvious looking at the sales of Galaxy S9. If you’re not aware, Samsung Galaxy S9 failed to outsell its predecessor which will decrease the brand’s quarterly earnings. In addition, Apple is planning to launch three new iPhones this year and that too with less price as compared to the last year’s flagship iPhone X. Samsung might want to launch their device early.
