Samsung has recently announced its Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra with some upgrades and refinements but there are not a lot of changes from the S20 counterparts. But it is worth noting that the company trimmer the prices on all the Galaxy S21 phones by $200. In most of the markets, the Galaxy S21 series will not come with power adapters and AKG headphones. In a few markets, both the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra will not come with a power adapter whereas the Galaxy S21 vanilla variant comes with charger in the box. Samsung is yet to conduct an official press conference to announce the prices of these devices in China.

Recently, some excited fans in China asked the customer service whether the Galaxy S21 series comes with a charger in the box. The customer service confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a charger in China, however, there is no information around the other two devices in the series. So, we will have to wait until the official press conference announcement which will happen on January 18. It is worth noting that Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and S21 Ultra were recertified by Chinese 3C on January 8 and the travel chargers for these two devices have changed from default equipment to optional.

It is hard to predict whether or not Samsung ships the Galaxy S21 Plus and S21 Ultra with chargers in the boxes. Considering all this, it looks like the South Korean Giant is still trying to decide whether to cancel the charger or not. If you recall, Samsung is among the first company’s that trolled Apple for removing the chargers from iPhone 12 series. Although that post was not deleted, Samsung ended up following the Apple’s lead with the Galaxy S21 series. Well, this is not completely unexpected as people who were more familiar with Samsung’s history started counting down since the mockery. It goes without saying that all smartphone manufacturers follow the trend created by Apple. When the Cupertino-based giant removed the earphone jack from its iPhone 7, a few manufacturers mocked the company. But all the companies who’ve mocked ended up following the footsteps of Apple by removing the jack from their own phones. Seems like the same is repeating all over again!

Samsung Galaxy S21 is the basic or standard version of the Galaxy S21 series. The device features a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate support. The resolution of S21’s display to 1080×2400 pixels while the counterpart in S20 series has a 1440×3200 pixels resolution. Under the hood Galaxy S21 is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 that is clocked at 2.84GHz max frequency but it is available in the US and China only and the Exynos 2100 5nm chipsets on-board.
