Huawei launches its first-ever Pop-Up camera smartphone Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 at RS 15,990/-

After teasing for quite some time under the hashtag #PopUpKing, Huawei finally released its first-ever Pop-Up Camera smartphone aptly named Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) at a launch event in New Delhi on August 01st. The event was attended by some of the key personalities and Huawei fans as well cherishing the superbly positioned fully immersive 6.59-inch Full View Vivid Display that users will get on their Huawei Y9 Prime with Huawei’s first-ever auto Pop-up camera module.

With a strong portfolio when it comes to its camera prowess, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 brings the company’s first-ever Pop-up front camera module backed with a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The front camera is backed by artificial intelligence (AI) that learns and optimizes the images in real-time in just 8 seconds producing highly detailed images with accurate retouching and intensity, crystal clear selfies at all time. The front 16MP AI sensor has a 6P lens configuration that allows more light to enter into the optic sensor that allows better resolution and images even in low-light conditions, let alone when you click images during the day which are completely flawless.

Turn towards the back and you’ll find a triple camera setup with 16MP+8MP+2MP sensors arranged similar to the photography master Huawei P30 Pro. The 16MP primary sensor has an aperture of f/1.8 along with f/2.4 for 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP sensors depth sensor respectively. The Ultra-wide lens enables users to click photos with a broader perspective and the robust AI enhances the overall photo and video quality even further.

The device has a feature called 3D Portrait that takes photos using both front and back cameras and uses studio-quality lighting effects to create a masterpiece simply by clicking on the photos. Huawei has aggressively priced the new Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in a sub-16K bracket with a price tag of just Rs 15,990/- that makes it the most inexpensive smartphone with a Pop-Up sensor while its specifications pack in a power-packed portfolio ranging from the high-performance Kirin 710 SoC which has less power consumption and provides higher performance even if you are playing intensive games and whatnot.

Huawei Y9 Prime is backed with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 512GB using an expandable memory slot.
