- Apple is eyeing for iPhone 18 Pro series launch either on September 8 or 9.
- This goes in-line with the previous launches although this year will be different due to split launch strategy.
- iPhone Ultra is likely to arrive with iPhone 18 Pro as well.
We haven’t reached July yet (it is two days away), and we’ve already got good news regarding the iPhone 18 series launch to be held in September. Turns out the Cupertino-based giant is all set to launch the Pro series on September 8, albeit unofficially tipped, and here’s all that you need to know.
If all goes as planned, iPhone 18 Pro series launch could happen on Sept 8 or 9
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 18 Pro series on September 8, i.e., a Tuesday, or September 9, i.e., a Wednesday. Here, the latter appears to have a stronger possibility. This is because the US Labour Day falls on September 7 and Apple might want to spare a day or two to ensure footfalls to its coveted launch event.
In any case, both Tuesdays and Wednesdays have been important in Apple’s launch history. A lot of phones have launched on either of these days, with the shipping reserved for a Friday the following week.
As earlier known, Apple will launch the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max on any of these days alongside the iPhone Ultra (Fold). It is based on Apple’s split launch strategy, which pushes iPhone 18 and 18e to cling to a later date sometime in early 2027. Moreover, iPhone Ultra could leave this fall slot and get the early 2027 launch schedule if some reports are considered. In any case, we are positive Pro and Ultra would arrive this year itself, and that’s exhilarating.
