After almost four months since its initial announcement, LG V30 might finally be made available in India. It is announced at IFA 2017 in August and has since been available only in a handful of markets. The phone includes some of the best specifications in the market currently, and if the reports are to be believed, it will be available in India at quite a competitive price point.

This report comes straight from PhoneRadar that cites one of their sources for this piece of information. As per the publication, the LG V30 will be available in December in India for a price of Rs. 47,990. Most of the flagships from the A-class brands are now priced upwards of Rs. 60,000. When compared to those, LG V30’s tentative pricing seems much more lucrative.

However, LG has done this earlier too. Launched earlier this year, the LG G6 was launched around this price point in India but its price was later dropped significantly to the sub-40,000 mark. One can argue that the phone came with a dated processor. But that’s not the story with the LG V30, that comes running the latest Snapdragon 835.

For that kind of price, you will be getting a 6-inch Quad HD+ FullVision OLED panel that supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10. The bezels are naturally thin, so the fingerprint scanner sits on the back, below the dual cameras. Speaking of which, the primary sensor is of 16MP with f/1.6 aperture along with a 13MP f/1.9 sensor. There is a 5MP camera on the front that supports wide-angle selfies.

The Indian variant, according to the report, will come along with B&O Play headsets that will compliment the phone’s 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The LG V30 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD-810G certification for better durability.

4GB of RAM supports the Snapdragon 835 processor that comes along with an improved Adreno 540 GPU. You will get an internal storage of either 64GB or 128GB which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card. The 3300mAh battery inside the phone supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which can charge the phone to 50% in just 30 minutes. And above all, the phone will come running Android Oreo out of the box, making it one of the few devices to run the latest OS on its first boot.

For the mentioned price, the LG V30 has a lot to offer, especially in terms of specifications and its audio enhancements. The V30 is the true 2017 flagship from LG as it was the first one from the company to sport the latest processor. Nevertheless, the phone might find a number of buyers if the details provided in this report turn out to be true. Stay tuned to know if it does indeed.
