After waiting for quite a while, Google has started sending out invites for its Made by Google 2026 event on August 12. This is where the search engine giant will launch the much-awaited flagship Pixel lineup along with a ton of different offerings.
Made by Google 2026 event date confirmed
Although not publicly announced at the time of writing this, Google has started sending out invites for its ‘Made by Google’ event taking place in New York City on August 12 (Wednesday). This comes from a reputable source, i.e., Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who posted the invitation on his X handle. Well, it’s not just him, though, as other major tech YouTubers, developers, and publications have received the invite as well, which means it’s actually happening.
The event is happening at 6 pm ET, which translates to 3 pm in Las Vegas (Aug 12), 11 pm in London (Aug 12), 12 am in Central Europe (Aug 13), and 3.30 am in India (Aug 13). Of course, we won’t see all these events, but rather this is because of time differences across countries.
Google will showcase the much-anticipated Pixel 11 lineup consisting of Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Note that the latter two models are expecting a EUR 100 price hike across versions. On the contrary, the 256GB Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro will cost the same as the 256GB Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro released last year.
We have been witnesses to countless rumors and leaks around the Pixel 11 series. The phones are gearing up for launch with Samsung’s latest M16 OLED panels, high peak brightness, a MediaTek M90 modem, a Titan M3 security chip, and a powerful 2nm Tensor G6 SoC. We will get our hands on a minimum of 256GB as the base variant across all models, as the 128GB variant has been discontinued. Apart from the Pixel 11 series, we will get our hands on the Pixel Watch 5 at the Made by Google 2026 event.
It will take some time until Google officially confirms the event on its X handle, so for now, we have to pump the brakes before going head-on with what the series brings to the table.
