Meizu Note 9 Gets BIS Certification, Might Launch In India Soon!

Meizu has been silent in the Indian market for a long time now. Last year, they launched 3 phones (M6T, C9, and 16th) in a launch event held at New Delhi. The phones were not much successful, and Meizu again kind of disappeared from the country. After around a year now it looks like they’re gearing up to make a comeback in the Indian market, again. A new phone with model number M923H has been certified on the BIS website recently, which is the Meizu Note 9. BIS certification is required to launch any phone in India.

Meizu’s official confirmed in past that Meizu Note 9 was supposed to be launched in India around Diwali, but for some reasons they were facing problems with certification. Now when the phone has been certified, it may get launched anytime soon. Meizu Pop 2, truly wireless earphones from Meizu were also certified a few days back. They might also get launched along with the Note 9 smartphone.

Specifications:

Talking about specifications of the phone, it is powered by the Snapdragon 675 mobile platform paired with Adreno 612 GPU. On the front side, it has a 6.2-inch full HD LCD screen with a screen resolution of 1080×2244 pixels and 403 PPI. The 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture is placed in a waterdrop notch above the screen. On the back, it has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary lens from Samsung with f/1.7 aperture, and a 5 MP lens for depth sensing. The phone gets its juice from a 4000 mAh battery, which supports 18W mCharge fast charging. Thankfully, the phone has a type-C charging port.

The phone comes in 3 storage variants, 4+64 GB, 6+64 GB, and 4+128 GB. The latter two variants are priced the same. It runs on Flyme OS 7 on top of Android 9 Pie. The Flyme 8 update is also coming in a few months. Other features include Bluetooth 5, Game Mode 3.0, and One Mind AI engine. Stay tuned for any future updates!
