Xiaomi Mi 11i made its debut at the Xiaomi Mega Launch Event on March 29 among bigwigs like Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite. Xiaomi Mi 11i is a premium device and a rebranded version of Redmi K40 Pro+.

The device arrives with a giant 6.67-inch HDR10+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate along with it. You get a whopping 1080×2400 pixels resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 395 PPI density. The display reaches 1300 nits of peak brightness. There’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top of the display to safeguard it against falls and drops.

Mi 11i shares its design language with the other Mi 11 series smartphones although with slight cosmetic changes here and there. This includes a front punch-hole cut-out at the center that houses a 20MP sensor. The rear has a triple camera setup that houses a 108MP HM2 sensor which is slightly smaller than GN2. It uses 9-in-1 pixel binning technology to create images with 2.1-micrometer pixel size. The device also sports a 3x lossless digital zoom.

The rear camera setup includes a 5MP telephoto macro and an 8MP ultrawide snapper with a field of view of 119-degrees that completes the rear camera setup.

Moving on, we get a giant 4,520 mAh battery that Xiaomi has supplied with Mi 11i along with a 33W fast charging that takes less than twice the time it takes to charge the battery on Mi 11 Pro i.e. 52 minutes. The device doesn’t have an IP68 rating but rather an IP53 splash resistant although it is better to have something than nothing.
