Design
One of the first things you will notice in the motorola edge 70 max is its updated design. motorola took an unusual approach with the upcoming model. Unlike previous edge series devices that offered curved displays, the company is offering a flat aluminum frame and glass design in the newer model.
The teaser image also showcases two distinct color options, light blue and sage green. It would have been better if a black-color option were present with this model. Anyway, on the back, motorola has adapted a square-shaped triple camera system. As a whole, the phone appears premium from the first look.

Processor
On the Flipkart landing page, motorola has confirmed that the edge 70 max will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. If you are unaware of the chipset, let me tell you that this is one of Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile platforms, and the chip is expected to offer strong performance for gaming, demanding tasks, multitasking, etc., as motorola claims that the chipset has crossed 3 million scores on the AnTuTu benchmark with this model.
Display
This part is where most of the consumers shortlist their list of phones they are considering to buy. Interestingly, the company has revealed that the edge 70 max will boast a Quad HD+ display with the capability of reaching up to 7000 nits of peak brightness. Notably, the display will be visible even when the phone is being used outdoors or under direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the phone features a 144Hz LTPO display, allowing the refresh rate to dynamically adjust between as low as 1Hz and up to 144Hz, depending on the content being displayed. Additionally, the display gets additional shielding with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Battery & charging
Another notable addition to the specs reveal is a 7100mAh battery. With the large capacity, consumers can expect the edge 70 max to endure a full day of battery life. To give it a refill, the company has made sure that users won’t have to plug in their phones for a longer time period. Thus, motorola has provided 90W wired TurboCharge and 25W wireless charging support.
Availability in India
Following its debut in India on July 15, the motorola edge 70 max will be available via Flipkart, motorola’s official website, and leading offline retail stores.
Unfortunately, motorola has not revealed the pricing details for the phone as of now, but the company will reveal the pricing for its different RAM/storage configurations at the launch event. Until then, stay tuned with True-Tech to get the latest update in the smartphone industry.
