At the beginning of this year, we found out that Motorola is reprising its flagship game. Just two months into the year renders for Motorola’s upcoming flagship Moto Edge+ have surfaced along with a tonne of information around the specifications. Tipster OnLeaks in collaboration with Pricebaba posted 360-degree render and 5K CAD-based renders for the upcoming device.

The first thing you’ll notice is that the Motorola Edge+ doesn’t have bezels on the right and left. Yep, that’s because the phone offers a waterfall display like Huawei Mate 30 Pro leaving almost no bezels on the sides while the top bezel and chin are discernable.

With 161.1×71.3×9.5mm, Edge+ will be a chunky smartphone. Coming to the camera bump, the width literally bumps to 11.5mm as the setup protrudes a bit above the back panel. The phone will have a high-resolution display at 6.5 to 6.8-inch although a separate leak suggests the phone could arrive with a 6.67-inch panel along with a super tiny punch-hole cutout to the left. It is also the smallest cutout on any smartphones.

The specs sheet also details the inclusion of an under-the-display fingerprint scanner although it wasn’t visible in the renders.

It’s back panel as viewed in the renders shows a triple camera setup on the left similar to Samsung Galaxy S20 although it isn’t that huge. The uppermost sensor is something I think will be its USP as with Moto One Vision and Moto One Macro, etc. There’s a famous Moto’s batwing logo at the center with an LED ring around it which will serve as notification light that changes based on the stimuli.

There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. SIM card tray, speaker grille, and a noise-canceling microphone at the bottom followed by volume rocker and power button on the right.

Talking about the specifications, as it is a flagship smartphone, it is likely to get powered with a Snapdragon 865 chipset paired along with 8GB to 12GB of RAM. It is likely to get a fast charging tech to power up its 5,170 mAh battery although the specifics remained unavailable at this moment.

The device will likely arrive with near-stock Android 10 out-of-the-box and will also have 5G support christening it as the first device from Motorola to get 5G network support. The release date is yet to confirm so you need to stay tuned on True-Tech to know more.
