The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is scheduled to launch in October. This means we have months before it hits the market and yet the rumors and leaks around it have started to intensify. The larger Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ is touted to pack in a whopping 4,500 mAh battery while the vanilla Note 20 was rumored to arrive with a smaller 4,000 mAh battery. Turns out it could be as big as 4,300 mAh.

The folks at SamMobile did a bit of digging on China’s 3C certification database and struck gold. They found out Note 20 could be powered by a larger 4,300 mAh battery. To simplify it, the rated battery capacity is 4,170 mAh and the typical capacity is 4,300 mAh as per the report.

For those who don’t know, this is similar to how Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ battery was rated. Also, Note 20 will reportedly sport a battery with model number EB-BB980ABY. This means the vanilla model will pack in just 200 mAh less than the Plus variant and in this 5G era, every mAh counts. This comes as a relief Galaxy Note 20 was earlier rumored to get 3,880 mAh rated and 4,000 mAh typically rated battery.

Talking about the specifications, Note 20 will sport a whopping 6.7” sAMOLED QHD+ LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate while the larger model will pack in a 6.9” display. Both the phones will run on Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 992 SoC along with a second-gen security chip, up to 16GB of RAM, UFS 3.1 storage among another tech. The upcoming series will also support wired and wireless charging and reverse wireless charging among others. Check out more about it here on True-Tech.
