After the immense success of Nokia 8, it’s time for the brand to unveil their next-generation flagship smartphone. While there is still a lot of confusion when it comes to the naming of the upcoming Nokia flagship device. Some reports suggest Nokia 9 while the other goes with Nokia 10. Ignoring the naming, the smartphone has been in news for a long time now and we’re still waiting for the official announcement. After today’s leaks, it seems like the next flagship device by Nokia might go official soon. This device is supposed to be the True Flagship smartphone of the brand.

Nokia 9

Today, some images of Nokia 9 (or Nokia 10) surfaced online in China giving us the glimpse of its rear. The back of the device shows a shocking five-camera setup. We’ve already seen three rear cameras in Huawei P20 Pro but five? it is something else. The user who leaked this smartphone address it as Nokia 9 while there is still no concrete evidence when it comes to naming. If you look at the back, you would see six circles of the same size and another circle in the middle. Out of these, one is a cutout for an LED flash which is clearly visible while the other is for IR integration, seems to be there for instant focus. Just like any other Nokia smartphone, there is a Zeiss branding just below the top camera.

The leaked images tell us one more thing about the back –  it is made up of glass. If you see the hands-on image closely, you’ll notice some fingerprint smudges which suggests glass back. To add more, the way it is curved towards the side and it is reflective too. A glass back and a five-camera setup at the back no doubt put this device into flagship territory.

Considering today leak, the  Nokia 9 (or Nokia 10) might see its official unveiling later this year. If so, you can expect it to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Since there is no fingerprint sensor at the back, Nokia might go with an in-display fingerprint sensor. One thing which we’re quite certain of is the best-in-class camera performance which HMD Global previously promised in their next flagship device. There is still 4 months left for this year to see its end and till then we can only expect more leaks to come forward.
