OnePlus 12 Spotted in CAD-based Renders

The OnePlus 12 has made its presence felt quite a few times now even though its launch is several months away. The latest development comes in the form of CAD-based renders that show how the phone will actually look like. Of course, these aren’t official renders and might change with time so take it with a pinch of salt.

As you can see, the phone looks reminiscent of its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. It adopts a similar squarish camera island, however, there’s some change in this department. Unlike the OnePlus 11, the OnePlus 12 packs in a periscope lens taking the second row while the other two sensors are placed on the first row.

The camera bump slides neatly into the side frame with a glossy appearance. On the optics specs, the phone is tipped to get a 50MP primary, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 64MP OmniVision periscope shooter plus there’s a 32MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus 12 is likely to sport a slightly curved screen with a centrally-placed punch-hole cut-out for the selfie camera. It uses a tall 6.7” 20Hz QHD+ OLED panel with 2K resolution and thin bezels to give you an epic edge-to-edge viewing experience. Apart from that, the renders show the placement of different buttons and functionalities. The bottom has a SIM tray, USB-C port, and a primary speaker whereas the power button is on the right edge and volume rockers to the left.

According to the reports, the OnePlus 12 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is launching in October this year at Snapdragon Summit. There’s an improved Adreno 750 GPU along with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard as well. Of course, this doesn’t mean there won’t be any storage configurations as the OnePlus 12 gets multiple options to choose from.

OnePlus 12 is expected to come with a hefty 5,000mAh battery paired with 150W fast charging tech. As the phone is yet to make its debut, rumors will keep on populating and we will bring you the latest about the OnePlus 12 there is to know about.
