OnePlus 12 is inching closer to its launch in China and global markets. The Chinese smartphone maker has already started teasing the OnePlus 12 in China sporting X1 Oriental Screen by BOE. Turns out the phone has been spotted on the IMDA certification confirming the imminent global launch.
According to the tipster Mukul Sharma, a OnePlus 12 carrying model number DPH2581 has been spotted on IMDA certification clearing the device for launch in Singapore. The flagship phone will arrive in China this year followed by its global rollout early next year.
OnePlus 12 Spotted on Geekbench and AnTuTu
It’s not just the IMDA, we have seen the device on EEC certification too. Apart from that, the phone was spotted on AnTuTu v10 benchmarking platform scoring a whopping 2,110,808 points which is phenomenal thanks to the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood.
On the Geekbench, the supposed handset with model number CPH2581 (OnePlus 12) scored 2,169 points on a single score followed by 6,501 points on multi-core tests. For context, the OnePlus 11 scored 1,493 points and 5,112 points on Geekbench 5 respectively.
OnePlus 12 Expected Specifications
We know for sure that the upcoming OnePlus 12 will get a 6.82” 2K LPTO X1 OLED Oriental Screen by BOE with a tiny punch-hole at the center. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with a clock speed of 3.30GHz will bring phenomenal performance at your disposal making it way better than the predecessors. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC on the OnePlus 11 had an AnTuTu score of around 1.3-1.5 million points which clearly defined the expected raw performance out of OnePlus 12’s SD8G3.
OnePlus 12 will get up to 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM options to choose from. A 5,400mAh battery takes care of the fuel you’d need paired with 100W and 50W wireless fast charging support on the go. A triple 50MP OIS + 48MP ultrawide and a high-quality 64MP 3x periscope telephoto camera will take care of the optics.
OnePlus 12R Key Specs Leaked
Turns out OnePlus has a sub-flagship model – OnePlus 12R up for launch early next year as well. It will arrive just after the flagship OnePlus 12. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood paired with a 5,500mAh battery, a 32MP telephoto 2x camera setup at the back, and a display that is as bright as 3,000 nits. Of course, it will be a successor to last year’s OnePlus 11R.
